Process and cooling water course

H2O offers training programs focusing on cooling-water and process water, aiming to equip operators and managers with knowledge in water treatment practices. Conducted by skilled instructors with 40 years of operational expertise across all continents, the training covers topics ranging from commissioning to operational guidance.

The program consists of multiple modules, each addressing specific aspects. A course day is composed of different modules that are tailored to the local requirements. This training is based on our in-depth understanding of all related processes in industrial applications in combination with practical operational field experience as stipulated in local and EU guidelines or in (for example) VGB guidelines. Through case studies it is demonstrated what may be the impact of inefficient treatment of your industrial water streams and illustrating the potentially costly consequences

Learning objectives

Following the course, participants will gain the ability to:

  • Be alert to early-warning signals of deviations from optimal water quality and/or developing biofouling or corrosion problems.
  • Appreciate the operational flexibility of operating in accordance with international guidelines;
  • Be aware of plant-specific operational windows for critical chemical parameters, and;
