Watertop considers plant-specific water conditions, including material construction, local fauna, water composition, and temperature, to establish the most effective water treatment protocol.

H2O Biofouling Solutions evaluates the efficiency of water conditioning programmes against microfouling, scaling, and corrosion. This evaluation can be conducted using our mobile Watertop test facility, which adheres to the standard ISO 16784-2:2006 (previously NEN7420) – a test method for evaluating the performance of treatment programmes for open recirculation cooling water systems.

Watertop offers more than just chemical dosing; it provides ongoing operational support to monitor and optimise the performance of your cooling systems in the long term.

Selecting the appropriate treatment programme, coupled with thorough monitoring, is crucial for minimising costs (both CAPEX and OPEX) and maximising the protection and efficiency of the plant’s cooling system.

Watertop features

The H2O Watertop Test facility is versatile and can be deployed at any location, with the ability to connect to existing cooling water systems through the following ways:

• As a recirculating unit for assessing the effectiveness of chemical conditioning programs against microfouling, scaling, and corrosion.
• As a real-time scale or corrosion monitor, where only the heat exchanger unit is connected to the cooling water system. This allows for visual detection of scale formation and corrosion. Tubes can be further examined through light microscopic analysis to identify corrosion root causes.
